Either extreme can keep the adhesive from properly sticking to the walls. It may not be a good idea to attempt to use wall decals in high humidity areas like bathrooms. Likewise, using them in a kitchen might be a bad idea as well. Both high humidity and temperature variations can cause the stickers to prematurely peel off of the wall.

These days the designs are sleek and trendy and tend to occupy as little space as possible in the room. For example, when it comes to choosing a color scheme, research shows that red will not be calming, but will excite those who enter. Blue or tan walls are more calming and relaxing. With bold colors, you may choose to do all the walls or just one accent wall. Be careful about choosing lighter colors. You may want to splurge and purchase a washable paint if little hand prints might be a permanent part of your décor.

When it comes to architectural elements, the more wear the piece has and the chippier the paint, the better! This aging and wear give character to the piece and adds interest.

There`s no point in covering your wall with something that you don`t want to look at. When you`re shopping for prints, posters, or wall decals that you can display on your wall, you should set aside a dozen or so pieces that tickle something inside of you.
